Savage Baseball has now expanded Its organization to serve players at the younger levels. We are now offering 9U - 14U in addition to our high school years.

Since 2015, Savage baseball has grown from one team to five in 2020 and has over 70 players in the program both at the local elite level and developmental level.

9U-14U
At this level, Savage Baseball is focusing on teaching proper development of players. We are a NO DADDY BALL, NO POLITICS, NO DRAMA organization. We follow all traditional rules. There is a paid coach in every dugout along with additional staff trained by Savage Baseball. At this level, we decide which league each season to participate in and collectively determine the tournaments each team will be competing in. We have our own training facility that encompasses many extras at no additional cost! Fall Ball is optional as we understand that players compete in other sports. Our training begins in January, with in season play starting mid to late April depending on weather and going until mid to late July.

15U-18U
The goal of Savage Baseball is to provide competitive baseball with professional training at a fraction of the cost of many other organizations. The Savage Baseball experience is the ideal opportunity to prepare players for their high school season, to help promote for college exposure, and to continue to play the game they love. 6-7 tournaments are scheduled each summer which allow players and families to still have lives outside of the baseball grind and also compete in other sports. Our season begins in late May or early June depending on when the high school season is finalized and runs until the end of July.

Team formation and Fees

Tryouts

14U-18U
Savage Baseball will work with managers on the formation of the team. Rosters will have 12-15 players. High School rosters often have increased roster compared to the younger divisions. We know that many players are also playing summer ball and often participate in other sports. Teams using a smaller roster are encouraged to have part-time subs. Once teams have been formed, Savage Baseball will hold an organizational meeting for families and players.

9U-13U
Rosters will have 12 players on a team. Once teams have been formed, Savage Baseball will hold an organizational meeting for families and players.

Team Manager

Savage Baseball prides itself on paid professional coaches in the dugouts. We often have additional parent staff that are vetted individuals who provide additional support for the players and coaches as deemed necessary.

Competitive Tournaments

Managers and the coaching staff will work with the families to determine the tournament schedule. Teams will typically participate in 6-7 tournaments. Managers and coaching staff may choose to enter teams in out of town/state tournaments. Tournaments typically occur during June and July. Players are not permitted to participate in travel events during the spring baseball season. Those playing summer high school baseball CAN participate in travel tournaments.
